Welcome to Dolls to Love. Dolls to Love are soft, made of natural materials, and handmade by me. I have been fortunate to learn the craft of dollmaking from Nicola Newton, a talented doll maker and former Steiner handcraft teacher, and with each doll I make learn a bit more. I am also lucky to have a daughter who loves the dolls I make, and as my love of dollmaking increases, so does her doll collection! I hope to make more dolls for other little girls and boys, and would love to hear from you if you would like a little doll to love too! 

Dolls can come in different sizes. The biggest is 50 cm long, the smallest is 30. I can provide all skin tones, from the palest porcelain to brown and black. The hair can be short and spiky, as for the baby, or long and silky or long and fluffy, and come in all natural colours. All dolls come with a complete outfit, and your input in terms of style and colour is welcome. You can order a "mini me" doll to look like your child,  or choose the style of a princess, tomboy, romantic, traditional boy or unisex. I have not yet set my prices, but contact me with your wishes and I will work out the price. 

The materials I use are of high quality. I use cotton interlock especially made for dolls, with no harmful chemical substances, wool from a farm nearby, and the hair is usually Dollymo, which is mohair with 8% nylon for strength. I knit and/or sew the clothes out of cotton, bamboo and wool.
